Karen Rands began her career at IBM, where she helped bring groundbreaking innovations to market—validating product market fit, negotiating pivotal partnerships, and launching new lines of business. Inspired by the rise of the dot-com era, she shifted into the world of private capital, becoming Managing Director of one of Atlanta’s top angel investor groups. For more than two decades, she has worked at the intersection of entrepreneurs and investors, advising startups and growth-stage companies on strategy and capital access while guiding angel investors on how to evaluate and build profitable portfolios. She resides in Peachtree City, south of Atlanta.
