Marty Tate is a corporate finance and securities attorney with more than 26 years of experience advising companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and funds on complex financial transactions and evolving areas of securities law. As a Corporate Finance & Securities Partner at Massey Bean & Lewis and Chief Legal Officer at KoreInside, he specializes in securities offerings, crowdfunding, digital assets, blockchain, DeFi, fintech, token sales, venture capital, private equity, and fund formation. His extensive experience includes public and private offerings under Regulation A, Regulation D, and Regulation CF, as well as SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, debt finance, and peer-to-peer lending.

Throughout his career, Marty has advised clients on sophisticated transactions involving structured finance, real estate, asset-backed lending, mortgage securitization, and investment funds. He previously served as a Partner at Carman Lehnhof Israelsen LLP and held senior legal and investment-management roles with Harbor Capital Partners, Sentry Financial Corporation, Select Portfolio Servicing, and other financial organizations. Passionate about the future of capital formation, Marty has developed a national role in crowdfunding, digital assets, fintech, and blockchain-related securities law. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Political Science from the University of Utah.
