Founder & CEO, ARTHIA AI, Inc

What happens when a father learns to communicate better with his children?

His kids experience a different parent. They learn from him. They carry that into their own relationships. Their children carry it into theirs. Multiply that by millions of people in millions of moments — and you have a compounding force for human good that ripples across generations.

That is the social impact of ARTHIA AI. And it is why Eric Coury — a former classroom teacher and father of three daughters from Rhode Island — sat at his kitchen table and filed 11 patents on the governing layer for ambient AI. Alone. Self-funded. With no engineering degree and no outside investors.

ARTHIA enables any AI model to operate as an ambient mentor, coach, companion, or advisor — present in the moments that matter most, privately and invisibly. With a focus on ethical AI that servies human beings - safely, securley, and privately.

Eric spent 14 years watching technology enter human lives without guardrails — first social media, then everything that followed. When he saw the same companies racing to embed AI permanently into earbuds, glasses, and the most private moments of human experience, he made a decision.

ARTHIA AI, Inc. PBC is a Rhode Island Public Benefit Corporation. The enabling and protection layer for ambient AI — ensuring it shows up in human life safely, effectively, and ethically. Privacy protection is written into the founding charter as a legal obligation. Raw audio is never recorded anywhere. The safety architecture is designed so it cannot be disabled by any user, operator, or future acquirer.

Eric is the first in his family to graduate college. He worked nights in a psychiatric hospital to fund his education. He has three daughters who are going to grow up in a world where AI is present in their most private moments. He built ARTHIA for them — and for everyone like them.

The people who should own a piece of what's coming are the people this technology will actually serve.
